The official website has a new trailer for the anime series adaptation TNSK s Uchi no Shisho ga Nai of My Master Has No Tail. It premiered on September 30, 2022.
The animation will be done by the studio Liden Films. Hideyo Yamamoto directed the animation. Code Black, script by Touko Machida with assistance by Kei Shimobayashi and Aya Satsuki, and Yuho Togashi. Character design by Ryo Yamauchi, who serves as chief animation director.

Summary Uchi no Shisho wa Shippo ga Nai
The story is set in Japan’s Taisho era (1912-1926). It follows Mameda, an aspiring human-like tanuki girl. Mame transforms Mameda’s exterior into a beautiful, black-haired human girl before she leaves for Osaka. People notice Mameda’s disguise immediately. A beautiful woman insists on telling Mameda to “Go back where you came from”. Bunko, a woman, named Bunko, is actually a supernatural creature. who transformed into a storyteller and rakugo (narrative comedian). Mameda asks Bunko for help and requests that she become her master.
